E-Z UP brings next level of restomod with custom Jet Ranger helicopter landing at SEMA

NORCO, Calif., Oct. 31, 2017

International E-Z UP, Inc. is taking innovation and customization to the next level with the restomod Bell Jet Ranger 206B helicopter landing in Las Vegas for the SEMA Show, set for Oct. 31 – Nov. 3.

The Jet Ranger is an all-custom project by E-Z UP® founder Mark Carter, who plans to use the helicopter for hosting activation events along with aerial video shoots of products and company-sponsored sporting events and athletes.

The newly-customized restomod helicopter is launching a partnership between E-Z UP and “DUB Magazine” at the SEMA Show. The helicopter will be on display at the activation booth, No. 62125. Carter and “DUB” founder Myles Kovacs will be at the booth during the show.

Carter said the helicopter reflects the innovation that drives E-Z UP, the original and still No. 1 provider of Instant Shelter® products.

“E-Z UP represents quality and originality,” Carter said. “The E-Z UP helicopter continues that mission by providing a unique and original experience.”

Kovacs agreed, saying, “‘DUB’ is extremely excited to work with E-Z UP. It’s not every day that we get the opportunity to partner with an innovative company that created their own product category.”

Carter started E-Z UP in 1983, building the business to the international company it is today by focusing on innovation and quality. He brings those qualities to every project he’s involved in.

One of Carter’s many talents includes piloting aircrafts for almost 25 years, previously piloting a Eurocopter before designing the restomod Jet Ranger.

He has been involved in every detail of the Jet Ranger restomod project from selecting the materials for the new interior design to the exterior custom paint job, working with Zee Siddiqi, of La Verne, California-based Z Designz.

The helicopter features a custom paint job from tail to skid with new avionics, a custom-built panel for the avionics, custom carbon-fiber trim and fascia panels, new glass display and leather interior. The helicopter also includes E-Z UP branding along with the “DUB Magazine” and Z Designz logos, all done in a custom vinyl wrap.

The helicopter is expected to bring in thousands of SEMA attendees to the activation booth during the show.

Along with showcasing the helicopter at the activation booth, E-Z UP will be at booth No. 20269 featuring free swag, new products – including the new Endeavor™ 10-foot by 15-foot shelter, the strongest and most durable Instant Shelter product in the world – and the E-Z UP custom 1961 Pro Touring Corvette.
