The Role

The Digital Advertising Specialist is primarily responsible for Paid Adverstising with Social, Google AdWords and analytics. To be successful the Digital Advertising Specialist should have experience working with various social media channels, familiarity with marketing terminology, be analytical and have strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate is Google Adwords and Analytics certified with Google PPC, Facebook ads experience, is strong in analytics/reporting and looks to stay on top of the latest trends and developments.

Google Ads and Analytics: (70% of time)

  • Perform daily account management of multiple paid media accounts in Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc
  • Track and manage KPI’s such as CTR, CPC’s and CPL to optimize campaigns and identify issues
  • Plan and implement SEO/SEM strategies to drive qualified traffic
  • Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Work with leadership and managers on the development of KPIs for social media and search programs and campaigns
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization for paid search campaigns
  • Research keywords and suggest new content and copy to improve SEO
  • Research and analyze competitor paid advertising and organic results in search landscap
  • Well-versed in online marketing best practices and measurement

Paid Social Media: (30% of time)

  • Buy, Track and optimize Facebook/Intagram ads through Business Manager
  • Strategize, execute, and manage a variety of Facebook ad campaigns from execution to analysis
  • Experience in running online prize draws and competitions using cloud-based social tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of social media legal guidelines, including,  boosts and sponsored content


  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in digital marketing within a corporate environment
  • Expert in PPC and Digital advertisement (including Google AdWords and all social media platforms)
  • Expert in Google adwords, analytics and tracking
  • Proficient in online marketing, web development, SEO and SEM
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced ‘agency like’ environment
  • Experience with Project Management systems
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of Social software tools (i.e. Gleam, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, Adobe Social, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook

Required Experience

  • Google Analytics and Adwords (Google certification a plus) – 3 years
  • Paid Social Media – 3 years
