E-Z UP: What is the biggest misconception about “growing up Hollywood”?
Beverley: I think the biggest misconception about Growing Up in Hollywood is that we all have had these crazy lives, filled with partying and such. I have always been a pretty grounded and somewhat boring homebody. I would much rather hang at home and be with my family than being out with a group of people.
E-Z UP: Who are the tougher critics? Those in Hollywood or your kids?
Beverley: I would say my toughest critics are definitely my kids because those opinions matter to me. In Hollywood you have to have a thick skin and always know that people are going to have opinions and honestly you can’t let them bother you. All I can ever do is do my best, show up, work hard, and be the most professional. The rest is just noise, because everyone will have an opinion on your looks, your acting, pretty much anything they can pick apart, I don’t pay any attention to that.
E-Z UP: What are three ways you and your family have been coping with quarantine?
Beverley: Some of the biggest ways we have been coping with quarantine is finding fun new ways to enjoy being at home. We play a lot of soccer, well Michael and the kids do, we go swimming, and we have been enjoying cooking at home and exploring new recipes. For us, quarantine has given us time to slow down and prepare for our new arrival coming later this summer. It has been nice to finally get those projects we have been meaning to do done.
E-Z UP: How important is it for you and your kids to get outside right now?
Beverley: Right now, it is more important than ever to get outside and play and let the kids be kids, that way they don’t destroy the house and drive me crazy. We have been working hard to set up the backyard, so it is more suitable for them to play while not getting burned by the incredibly strong California sun.
E-Z UP: What is one of your favorite memories from “under an E-Z UP”?
Beverley: We are making new memories every day under our E-Z UP! The kids have set up a birthday party for my husband, that was so cute, complete with adventures. We practice our soccer under it, which makes it bearable in the heat, and are even creating an outdoor gym to get us outside and staying active. Our E-Z UP allows us the chance to play all day while not being too hot or exposed to the sun, which for me is key.
